The year 2020 was difficult for the whole world as we were hit by one of the worst Pandemics in human history "The Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19". As the disease spread the Governments were left with no options but to implement a strict lockdown for the first time in human history. India was no exception and as the cases rise sky-high the government was left with no option but to implement a strict nationwide lockdown for months. The people of the country faced many issues during this time one of which was a shortage of supplies of consumer goods. The most affected were the common man and families of the working class who made their bread and butter on daily wages. Many consumer goods companies and FMCG companies halted their operations. But during these tough times, Oswal Soap Group stood tall by not halting the operations to meet the demands and need of the hour as well as by taking full care of their working staff. Oswal Group also tried their best for helping the needy by distributing free masks, hand sanitizers, food packets for the poor, etc.

For their efforts during these tough times, Oswal Soap Group was awarded by FM Award for Leadership in Pandemic. We are proud that this award was presented to us by Mrs. Deepa Malika a legend and a true inspiration for the younger generation. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games and also won a Silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the shot put. She has also won gold in the F-53/54 Javelin event at the para athletic Grand Prix held in Dubai in 2018. She is currently the world number one in the F-53 category. For her valiant efforts, she has been awarded Khel Ratna, Padma Shree, and Arjuna Award.
